B & R Design Group is proud to have provided surveying, site planning, civil engineering and construction design documents for the Monocacy Canning Building, located on South East Street in Frederick, MD. This building is an excellent example of an adaptive re-use of an existing structure within the historic fabric of the City of Frederick. B & R Design worked closely with the developer, Bert Anderson, to help bring his vision to reality for this important landmark location. This building, along with the Frederick Tourism Center, also an adaptive re-use project designed by B & R Design Group, provide the first impressions for motorists entering the City along East Street. With amazing views of the City Spires from the proposed office use, to the retail area within walking distance to Carroll Creek, this development is ideally located.
