Founded in 1998, B & R Design Group has earned a reputation for providing superior design and engineering services in the Mid-Atlantic region. We focus on intimate client contact and understand the importance of creating partnerships.

Bill Brennan and Rick Curry, the firms principles, have over 57 years of collective experience in Civil Engineering and Surveying. Both have worked for large engineering firms as well as smaller practices and each enjoy the business and personal relationships they develop with the clients over the course of a project or several projects.

B & R’s qualified staff is second to none. With over 20 years of experience in Land Planning and Landscape Architecture, and over 37 years of experience in surveying, our staff is exceptionally qualified. Additional staff experience includes over 22 years of engineering design and analysis, as well as 27 years of construction management knowledge.

B & R Design’s experience is based in engineering, site planning, and surveying for development associated with municipal, county, and state projects, as well as private sector projects. We offer these and similar services for the quality engineering of civic and public work related projects. B & R Design’s office is located in downtown Frederick, Maryland, and serves the Mid-Atlantic region including Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

B & R staff members have been in responsible charge of numerous projects worth millions of dollars that were maintained within original budgets and available funds. A crucial part of any project is the estimation of quantities and costs to allow proper budgeting and bidding for both public and private projects. We encourages contact with our established client base and references to verify that B & R Design staff members have always maintained a professional commitment to project timelines, including prompt return of calls, fully completing all contractual obligations, adhering to established schedules, and providing continued assistance, even after final payments are made (should their project warrant such support). B & R Design’s staff is trained in the latest technological advances to provide the maximum in economic and operating advantages to our clients.Our staff is extremely experience with zoning techniques and regulations, master plans, concept plans, land-use studies, and other methods to set the layout and organization of growth areas; including the design and development of public parks, streets, and public use right-of-ways.
